Then used just black card stock for the corner.
Added a celebrate tag and braided ribbon for the spiders web.
I made the spider out of pipe cleaners and added google eyes to make it fun....

Color my world

I used paper from "SEI paper pad.
The card stock is called Overgrown Vines and was cut to 11 1/2 X 5 3/4 and folded in half to become 5 3/4 X 5 3/4.

What a Fish Type Life Card

This was a fish life card I put together after I received my new fish bowl and friends dies. I had to try them out. I used TH blue ink for all the edging and actually used a tye dye type paper to cut out the  fish. I think they are the cutest.... I then used a colored stickle and made bubble dots along the scalloped edge and added a water themed tag. The tag says " To be a fish". I think it turned out pretty cute even though some of the pieces were pretty small.

Robot Friends Card

This is another Robot themed card made with my Robot Cricut Cartridge. I used a Navy card stock that I used a scalloped edge punch on it and then I embellished with brads and a rope type ribbon. I used boy themed stamps with silver ink. I used silver ink around the edges to make it pop or stand out.

Robot Birthday Card

This was a card I did for a friends daughter's birthday. The party was a Total Recall theme, so I used my Robot Cricut Cartridge. I used a edger punch and strip ribbon to coordinate. I just used plain card stock for the card and found in my stash the circle card stock which kinda went well with the overall theme. This time I used a liquid type glue instead of either glue squares/dots or a glue stick and I am not sure I liked the liquid or will use it again because I don't like that the card does not lay flat.
But she loved it and I guess that is all that counts...

I punched out the dresser drawer design from 3 in one punch in brown scraps. I used heart brads for knobs. Then added rose flower paper to accent. I used rose colored lace and paper punch shadows to tie it all together. Dressed up the background with 2 accent colors and Here it is.....

Father's Day Card

I made this card for Fathers Day. I went with the motorcycle as part of a personal challenge for myself. I have decided that I will take one cricut cartridge and cut multi dies from it and make at least 3 cards per cartridge. The embellished the motorcycle with zig markers and used gray card stock stamped with a vine pattern. I used white opal liquid pearls to dress up the letters, center of the wheels, lights and handle bars. I made a road with metallic paper pack and white card stock. I thought it turned out cute or maybe I should say manly....

Live Laugh Love Card

I made this card because I just fell in love with the giraffe and had to use him in a card. I also decided I would try the Peachy Keen Challenge. I used the giraffe from Create A Critter Cartridge and the frog and dragonfly and caterpillar were cut using the Sizzlits Nature Set dies, I picked up cheap on eBay. The eyes on the frog were stamped using peachy keen stamp everyday character face assortment. I inked the edges of the card, grass to break up the white card stock I used for the card. I added some twine to the tag theme that was to be used for the challenge. Thanks for looking...

A Beautiful Friendship

I made this card using block paper designs and then once I got it together I was not sure what kind of elements I wanted to add to it.... I then thought I liked the cage with a butterfly in it but needed another friend if I was going with a friend theme. SO the Caterpillar became the other friend. I dressed it up with Cricut cut scrolls and added the transparent "a beautiful friendship"....
Easy peasy, it was just a design block to start.

Happy Butterfly Birthday Card

I made this card for an upcoming Birthday for someone who LOVESSSS butterflies. I first embossing the background with my Cuttlebug using The Happy Birthday Embossing Folder. Then added the ribbon to the top. I used a piece of scrap paper left over from the butterfly's to adhere to the  scalloped edge to dress it up some. I cut the Happy Birthday with my Cricut Expression 2. I added the gems to give it some bling. I used my Cuttlebug to cut the embossed Butterflies using Cherry Lynn Design - Exotic Butterfly small #2, which I picked up at a Craft Fair recently.... Needless to say once I bought it I was dieing to try to use it but no matter what I did I could not cut anything effectively with this die until I ordered from Cherry Lynn Design - the Large Metal Adaptor Plate as well.
But I will tell you this I love the details you get from her dies and the adaptor plate made cutting a snap.

Happy Bee Birthday Card

I love bumble bee's and I got the idea from one of my Cricut magazines. I cut the Honeycomb and the bumble bees and the Happy Birthday using my Cricut Expression 2. I added a black fuzzy ribbon and yellow ribbon and a button for the middle. I used my bee bizillion stamps for the corners. I dressed up the bees with my silver and yellow Tim Holtz's accent pens. I stamped a face on each bee using my Peachy Kean Stamps - Everyday Characters. I also hand cut around the top card flap edge of the honeycomb so you could see my bee stamps.
I love how it turned out....

I then added black ribbon to both sides of the card and twine to the diploma. Then just put some stitching on the yellow die cuts to dress it up some... This was a quick card.

Thanks a Latte

Here is a card I made Just because I got this really cute set of stamps and had to try them out.

This one was a Birthday Card that converts into a bookmarker for your Favorite Book.

Candy Bouquet

This was a Candy bouquet like basket for a friend's birthday. All the treats she likes to eat, including the sugar free gum. Go Figure. This was put together with four boxes of Mike and Ike's of your course and wrapped around a green sponge crafting block. Then I used small long dowels and taped the treats to each one and then position it around the center like a bouquet of flower. Then I used different colored cellophane to add a decorative touch. But this is a eat at your own risk and not a good gift for the weak but for the SWEET TOOTH at heart. giggle, giggle...

Event Project Album

I created this project to hold my cake and cupcake recipe cards. The album is made from Cardboard covered in treat embellished paper and veined vellum paper. The fold out pockets are made from brown paper bags folded in half and covered in coordinating paper to go with the sweet theme. On the top of each recipe card is either a tiered cake or a cupcake cut from my Cricut Expressions. The sides fold in and when all together it looks like a photo album.

Scrapbook Memory Card

I came up with this idea because my daughter needed to submit a new and creative way to display photos related to a certain subject for a school project. It needed to be at least 12 photos and writing discribing the photo. The teacher was looking for no more then one page (kinda like poster board) and to make it more interesting I had her submit one like this instead.  I glued the photos into the squares and then wrote information related to the pictures in the triangles. I made this one first to use as the templet to create the one for the school project. The Card size was 9 x 9 and it was just 2 pieces of cardboard covered in scrapbook paper and a ribbon mounted under the cover to hold the two squares together. The inside is three 12 x 12 scrapbook pages of your choose folded and glued together by the corners.

Happy Birthday Card

I created three cards with similar backgrounds for three birthdays days apart. Each one I used sugar and spice everyday paper. With a solid color for the background border and just white cardstock. I love the ribbons that have poke-a-dots on them and a button for the center. I used my cuttlebug with the poke-a-dot die to emboss it. I punched out a tag in two different colors and just stamped Happy Birthday to the center.

Happy Birthday Cupcake Card

Here was card number two with same background and pink poke-a-dot ribbon and tags. But this one I added a cupcake cut from Sweet Treats Cartridge on my Cricut Expression and added pink jems to the cupcake border.

Fall Card

I did this card after taking a class with Stampin Up. I bought the fall leafs stamp set and was not sure what I was gonna used them on. I used a piece of cork paper cut on a angle to throw off the traditional straight lines used on most cards. I used solid colored paper for background and under border and for the stamp borders as well. I actually had a matching stamp pad the same color red as the paper i decided to use that I had in my Craft Room. I really like this card and it was simple to make once I got started. The cork paper is a little pricey so I would suggest to position it before you decide to make it permanent on your card.

Coffee Sign

This was made for the break room at work using Cricut and Cricut Cartridge, From my Kitchen. I used the fonts for the words, Price, Coffee and Cup. I used Soft Nostalgia - Hot Off The Press, Inc paper for the coffee cup and the pitcher. The background was off white cardstock. This was a quick design but I think it turned out cute.

Sympathy Card

I made this card for a coworker and got the inspiration from a friend of mine. I am all about quick and easy ideas. I used plain white cardstock for the card and used my Martha Stewarts Score Board to make the card and envelope. I then decided to dress it up by using one of my favorite cuttlebug dies.. I added flower paper embellishments randomly to this card and dressed it up with center jems of the same color as the flowers. I used a stamp that I had on hand that says With Sympathy.

Craft Projects

I recently made Popcorn Bags and Thank You lifesaver binkys for my Daughter-In-Law's Baby Shower.
I created the design on my computer and even uploaded the baby's ultrasound picture for the belly. I used the cuttlebug to emboss polka dots on the white paper and used the xeron to hold it ALL together. The binkys were made with royal icing and white lifesavers and jelly bellys.
Each popcorn bag was filled with white chocolate covered popcorn, that looked like plain old popcorn until they tried it....Surprise.....
I bet you could not guess what the theme was, that's right you guessed it...Zebra Strip....and HOT pink to boot..
